CHARACTER PERMISSIONS and OPT OUTs
Aug. 20th, 2015 10:50 am![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Bill may be pseudo omniscient but I regrettably am not, so if you'd take the time to fill out this quick questionnaire you can get the most out of your living illuminacho. Keep in mind Bill will have no guilt over taking your most private thoughts hopes and fears and using them as leverage should the need suit him. I'll try to look at APPs to get a good idea of who I am dealing with as often as I can, of course~
Preferred nickname? (Ex: Bill calls Dipper “Pinetree” an Mabel “Shooting Star” not just because of their clothes but because they represent important parts about who they are. In canon, Bill is referencing what position they take on the zodiac created specifically to banish him, but that doesn't mean he won't make names up at your characters expense anyway.
Any horrible, secrets memories your character would have nightmares about? (Because chances are Bill has seen them~ and may bring them up as leverage should he see the need.)
Anything Bill should not know? (I will make a point not to use it.!)
Special Defenses?: Thus far, the only known way to keep Bill out/ from reading your mind is installing a metal plate in your head. Smaller actions such as encrypting your thoughts or those experienced with warding off psychic powers may have a chance of slowing Bill down however.
OPT OUT: Bill can be a rather cruel character even if he does opt for laughs. If you would rather I not tag you at all, let me know. No questions asked.

Date: 2016-06-07 05:19 am (UTC)Everyone else is fair game.
Dipper would like to not be called pine tree please(no subject)
Date: 2016-06-11 03:58 am (UTC)SCREW YOU, DIPPER, you lost your right to reject your nickname when you stood on the zodiacFINE, FROM HERE ON OUT, YOU SHALL BE KNOWN AS DISCO GIRL >DAm I doing this right? :D
Date: 2016-06-08 03:53 am (UTC)Horrible memories: (Spoilers for Life is Strange - sorry if this is tl;dr...) Oh, so many! In her canon, Max develops the ability to rewind time. She uses it throughout her canon to try and save people, but generally things just get worse due to chaos theory (her best friend Chloe dies multiple times or gets paralyzed, her town gets devastated by a gigantic tornado that kills a looooot of people, her brain starts to malfunction and she has weird hallucinations and nightmares, a homicidal maniac kidnaps her classmates, etc). At the end she rewound time to reset everything, making it so she never used her powers in the first place. As a result, she had to watch her best friend Chloe die without rewinding to save her. (Chloe's in Wonderland post-death.) Right now she believes she no longer has the ability to rewind (spoiler: she does). Her brain's also a little screwed up due to all the time traveling she did (hence her continued nightmares).
What Bill should not know: It's all fair game. BUT if you're thinking about revealing to her that she can still rewind, can we discuss beforehand? :D
Special Defenses: None
No opt out!
You got it XD thanks!
Date: 2016-06-11 04:03 am (UTC)Sure thing, we'll keep that bit about still being able to rewind, underwraps!
Thanks a bunch, I can definitely look into using this :3
WIRT
Date: 2016-06-08 04:30 am (UTC)HORRIBLE MEMORIES/SECRETS: Wirt may or may not be dead! Honestly, he doesn't know for sure and his memories from immediately before the Unknown are spotty at best. He mostly remembers jumping over the cemetery wall with Greg and...a train whistle maybe? And then they were walking home, through the Unknown. He's been having kind of an existential crisis over it lately because he has no way of knowing FOR SURE if he's dead or alive. MORE RELEVANT TO YOU THOUGH - Wirt has actually been possessed by Bill before. They made a deal and Wirt gave him "a Puppet" so Bill would send him back to the Unknown. Bill, being a jerk, decided that the mindscape counted as an Unknown place and took his body for a joy ride. He followed this up by giving Wirt HORRIBLE nightmares and a follow-up deal that he would take these nightmares away if Wirt refused to tell anyone about Bill or warn them of what he can do. Bill is free to take advantage of that, because Wirt's going to be assuming that deal is still in play whether Bill remembers it or not. Some of the trees in Wirt's mindscape have Bill triangles carved in them for easy access.
Everything is fair game for him, no special defenses, and no opt-outs!

Date: 2016-06-11 04:07 am (UTC)Thanks, this helps a ton! hehe I was going to call him Gnome Hat anyway, so that all checks out. Poor Wirt.
(no subject)
Date: 2016-06-08 03:47 pm (UTC)I'll also open saying that neither of them have special defenses at current, and that there's nothing I'd put in the Bill Shouldn't Know category. I'm cool with whatever, and always up to hash stuff out OOC!
Preferred nickname:
+ case in point, Soos 'Question Mark' Ramirez reporting 4 duty
+ I'm cool with pretty much anything for Morty that Bill would toss out there, but "Human Shield" is always a good default that he will hate.
Nightmare City:
+ Anything canon is fair game for Soos, and he's also got a bonus dosage of zombification thanks to Wonderland (the "get bitten, slowly lose control over mental faculties and git zombied over about 3 days" variety).
+ And haha man uhh. I can say for a fact that there are a lot of horrible things that Morty might have nightmares about. idk if you're familiar with Rick & Morty canon already/how you feel about spoilers for episodes if you're not familiar?
(no subject)
Date: 2016-06-11 04:24 am (UTC)I have seen all of Rick and Morty! :) Given that I sort of binge watched it, though, I have to recheck some facts now and then. You don't have to worry about spoilers with me :3 I know em all (I even saw the Bill Easter eggs!) so feel free to plot if you want something specific. It's true, Morty definitely has a plethora of nightmare. Lets just say, Bill's probably worse that Scary Terry!
Thanks XD

Date: 2016-06-10 11:16 pm (UTC)Secret memories and nightmares: HA HA HA so Cami has been haunted by 1) her brother's death (Ref 1 Ref 2, 2) her uncle's death, and 3) her own death in Wonderland! Notably, however, at least a year has passed since all of these events, and while she still can't talk about them without getting emotional, the nightmares have abated.
In terms of secrets, no one in Wonderland knows about that time Cami smacked a guy with a beer bottle and beat the crap out of him, or more importantly, the fact that that particular brand of justice sits very well with her. She thinks giving in to those urges will lead her to lose her morality and become a person she doesn't want to be.
Anything Bill should not know: So I don't know if Bill can see into the future??? Also spoilers for The Originals mid-to-late season 3! But Cami's going to die horribly, TWICE, in canon--thanks canon. The first time she's compelled (mind controlled) by a vampire to slit her own throat after drinking vampire blood, so she turns into a vampire. The second time she's bitten by an uber!vampire-werewolf-hybrid-thing and incurably poisoned, and dies permanently. This has not happened for the Cami that's in Wonderland yet, and I'd much prefer she didn't learn about it just yet; it's a pretty massive revelation, so I'm saving it for something special, basically.
Special Defenses NOPE. :D Poor girl. Notably, she's also not at all a fan of Bill's from when he possessed Wirt before, since she's protective of the little guy. So Cami's personal goal will be to set Bill on fire.
(no subject)
Date: 2016-06-12 03:46 pm (UTC)Oh man, she has quite the future to not look forward to and a lot of deaths in her past, yikes! Bill CAN see in the future, but I can easily keep him from spoiling the show, so no worries there :3
Thanks! This all helps a lot
TL;DR incoming...
Date: 2016-06-23 08:03 am (UTC)Preferred Nickname?
His real name is John, so Jack is actually a nickname already. He hates being called John.
So if you're aiming to annoy him, totally do that.In the future, he's known as Handsome Jack, so calling him Handsome will confuse him until I canon-update. Also in the future, he wears a mask of his own face because he will be hiding a severely disfiguring scar. Mockingly calling him Hero or Villain (which he turns into later on). Anything to do with his scar when he gets it. He's a programmer, so Codemonkey is a term.Secret Memories/Nightmares?
Secret Memories/Things Bill should know: He has a young daughter (Angel) that he keeps hidden for several reasons: She's a Siren and when her powers manifested, she accidentally killed her mother (his first wife). That haunts Jack to the extent anything can haunt him. He loves them both. He trussed Angel up to a machine he designed that helps her control her powers and gives her access to everything electronic. He thinks she's happy (she's not, but he's in denial) and has everything she could ever want in that room (called Control Core Angel). His second wife found out about her and bolted. Hence the secret.
The scar comes from the destruction of an Eridian Artefact (in the Vault) being destroyed in front of him. The energy recoil scarred his face and destroyed his green eye. He holds a grudge against Lilith for that after it happens, but keeps the scar hidden and a secret from just about everyone else.
The short version: Jack used Angel masquerading as an AI to trick the Vault Hunters into opening the Vault (an alien pocket dimension-like thing containing artefacts, monsters of unimaginable power, and rumoured treasure) for him and allowing him to capture the Vault Monster so he could use it to create a super-weapon (The Eye of Helios) that he installed in a space station (Helios). At his canon point, not even the Vault Hunters know about it, yet. But they will and they betray him to destroy the Eye. Betrayal is a repeat offender in his life, which is partly why he turns into the main antagonist of BL2 (but he thinks he's a hero).
Special Defences?
Nothing that would help him against Bill.
Any questions about him, feel free to ping me (
TL;DR is always loved
Date: 2016-06-29 03:05 am (UTC)Oooh I'm glad you mentioned the mask (even though he doesn't have it yet) Due to not seeing his avatar apart from the rest of the canon art style, I never would have realized it.
Thanks a bunch, this is really helpful! I had perused a bit of your app but this summarizes it much easier for me. Sorry again about the slowness, I think I'm finally getting comfortable enough here to strike a good balance. LOOKIN FORWARD TO DOIN BUSINESS WITH YA, JOE!

Date: 2016-06-23 06:47 pm (UTC)Horrible, Secret Memories + Nightmares: HOO BOY. Okay, so
1.) One time she was too proud to heed the warnings of the mysterious desert people and read from an ancient book that raised a 3,000 year old priest from the dead, who then took on god-like qualities and afflicted Egypt with Biblical plagues before trying to sacrifice her in a ritual to bring back his dead girlfriend. So. There's that trauma. Occasional nightmares primarily linked to guilt because it was her fault a lot of innocent bystanders died.
2.) In Wonderland, she's died three times, but the most recent was at the hands of Hannibal Lecter (who she also mortally wounded). This death in particular sucked because Evelyn had been friends with Hannibal before he revealed All His Bad Shit, and also she was.........kind of doing Will Graham for a while, and it turned out that he'd been keeping stuff (like...Hannibal being a SICK MURDERER) from her. Betrayal nightmares. Lots of blood involved.
3.) Currently Evelyn frequently suffers from dreams and waking visions of her past life (as some warrior princess named Nefertiri from the court of Seti I). She sleepwalks. She usually tries to lock her door to keep it from happening.
4.) The last thing Evelyn remembers in her world is dying in her husband's arms from a horrible stomach wound while her family looked on helplessly. That. Yeah.
Anything Bill should not know: Nope! Rifle through all her mental knickers as you will.
Special Defenses: Evelyn is a linguist and has actually spent some time in Wonderland developing a new code with Cecil Palmer (who is no longer in residence). Mental defenses are not, however, her forte, so it would probably be easy to rummage around.
Please do not hesitate to hit me up if you have any questions! She's got a lot of trauma she never talks about. :T
(no subject)
Date: 2016-06-29 03:17 am (UTC)It's always neat when characters have development in game beyond their canon, I'll definitely look into studying the code she wrote with Cecil; and yeah her mansion death from Hannibal would DEFINITELY be trauma inducing.
That sleepwalking should be fun to play with too (and past lives, hell to the yes) I actually love the Mummy movies so Evelyn is a gal I already know well, but it always helps knowing where to pinpoint my focus. Thanks a bunch ^__^ <333
(no subject)
Date: 2016-07-01 02:11 pm (UTC)Oh God, buddy, pal, she has five years' worth of development in game, there is a lot of crap going on. Please do not hesitate to ask questions about things you want to use to emotionally sucker-punch her. The Hannibal/Will Graham debacle can be found summed up here if you're into having a resource for that shitshow. (Right now it sucks for her because there's a Will Graham in town and he doesn't remember anything. So. Y a y.)
The code she wrote with Cecil used Diné Bizaad as a base. This will not be particularly helpful for anything but a casual reference here and there - we never posted an "official" code in-game, but they were always working on it.
And NO PROB I am so excited to write shenanigans with you! :3
I WAS GONNA FILL THIS OUT AND THEN DIDN'T WHOOPS
Date: 2016-06-29 01:52 am (UTC)Preferred nickname?
Canonically he's something of a puppet for the Operator even if he does everything with misguided intentions, so...idk something along those lines if you want? He's also a snarktastic film director. I'm flexible, even if Alex isn't!
Any horrible, secret memories your character would have nightmares about?
NOT SURE IF YOU'RE CANON-FAMILIAR WITH MARBLE HORNETS but tl;dr, Alex's main nightmare is the Operator aka Slender Man: a tall, be-suited, faceless individual who stalks people and brings out the worst in them. Alex encountered it while putting together a student film and from there things escalated. He decided that the only way to stop the thing's influence was to kill everyone who'd come into contact with it, so he basically killed all his friends (though he failed to account for everyone, even if he's not aware of it). So Alex carries around a lot of guilt but a lot of certainty that what he did was the correct thing. But still, it haunts him, and he knows that it might not really be over as long as he's still alive (i.e., he might have to kill himself to stop the Operator entirely). He had no idea that, of course, throughout this whole thing, he was mostly just "feeding" it.
Anything Bill should not know?
Nothing comes to mind other than the obvious - he can't know more than Alex knows about the situation if he's rummaging around in this boy's brain. Alex thinks he's killed everyone and that he might be free from the Operator at last, and he also thinks that he did this of his own free will, when he didn't.
Special Defenses?
None. Torment Mr. Kralie to your heart's content!
OPT OUT:
NEVER. Hit me with all you got.
Preferred nickname?
Frisk canonically gets called a lot of names: Human, My Child, Kid, Punk, Darling, etc. You can play on those, or you can play off their timespace-manipulation, or their pacifist nature. idk if you're canon-familiar with Undertale, but Frisk has used LOADS and SAVES and RESETs many, many times throughout the game and experienced a lot of RESETs, though they've never actually completed a No Mercy run.
Any horrible, secret memories your character would have nightmares about?
hoo boy. guilt, guilt, and more guilt? Frisk is having a hard time forgiving themselves for what they did to everyone they love. They've killed pretty much everyone with the exception of Sans, and they did it for a multitude of reasons: they got frustrated with dying to someone over and over again, they were curious what would happen if they changed little minute things like who lived and died in a given timeline, they wanted to experiment, they were scared of heading back to the surface, etc. They're not very fond of humans, especially adults, even if they're starting to trust certain people in Wonderland more, like Ford. They very likely experienced some kind of abuse at the hands of humans. Also, their fall into the Underground was not an accident. This kid is full of a lot of issues, but they basically bottle them up and try to smile and be kind because that's what's expected of them.
Anything Bill should not know?
I'd prefer if you don't get into Frisk's gender stuff. Frisk is canonically a "they/them," and I'm not really interested in exploring whatever went down in that department.
Special Defenses?
The SAVEs and LOADs. RESETs have been nerfed by Wonderland, but Frisk can basically form SAVE points at any point and then LOAD to those points whenever they need to. This sets everything back to that point: memories, physical positions, etc. Bill being what he is, he'd likely be able to remember what happens, but it's likely Frisk could use those to stall him if they really wanted to. They have no mental defenses, however. Their mind is an open book.
OPT OUT:
Other than the aforementioned gender stuff NOPE

Date: 2016-07-07 02:54 am (UTC)Any horrible, secrets memories your character would have nightmares about?
Well this is going to get into messed up territory pretty quickly.
It's nothing she has nightmares about, Zelena has a lot of issues stemming from her mother abandoning her as a baby. Because Cora is a horrible person even by OUAT standards and left her alone in the woods because abandoning her child was Cora's best chance to get a better life. So yeah. That happened (and Zelena's seen it because magic).
She's also (up until a canon update happens) pregnant, so there's also a pressing concern that because she's a horrible horrible person that saner family members will intervene and keep her from raising her child to be wicked and ruling Oz or whatever it is that Zelena thinks is going to happen there.
So yeah, there's two pretty easy ways to mess with her head.
Anything Bill should not know?
I can't think of anything. Even future stuff is fine with me, she's not going to believe it anyway (and given how ridiculous and questionable the quality of this show is why would anyone believe it).
Special Defenses?: I don't think she has any? Knowing the show and the level of magical asspull, something could very well exist, but I'll go with no.
OPT OUT: Nah, go nuts.
(no subject)
Date: 2016-07-09 06:02 pm (UTC)If you do think of any ways in the future OUAT magic might have an effect still feel free to bring it up anyway ^^ since Bill defies all logic and reason its very easy to suddenly write something affecting him in unexpected ways even if it hadn't before :3 thanks so much!
(no subject)
Date: 2016-07-10 05:58 am (UTC)And yes, I will definitely bring it up because I play from a trash canon that has somewhat consistent rules for what you can't do with magic, but as to what you can do, well, picture a shrug here because that's basically how it works.
(no subject)
Date: 2016-07-26 02:58 am (UTC)Any horrible, secrets memories your character would have nightmares about? Plenty. When he was a kid, human extremists took the orphanage he lived in hostage. Nageki was the only one inside the house who survived: his siblings were all shot to death and the humans had suffocated after too much time in Nageki's presence. His older brother, Hitori, only survived because he'd been tutoring other kids at the time.
Later, Nageki was accepted into St. Pigeonation's Institute because the doctor there offered to treat his genetic condition which weakened Nageki's immune system. Nageki didn't want to go but Hitori wanted Nageki to become healthy and strong. The doctor, unfortunately, was more interested in using a virus Nageki carries inside his body - named the Charon Virus - as a weapon to kill humans. After seeing human after human die because of him, Nageki decided to disappear. He started a fire and locked himself in the room so that no one could rescue him.
He became a ghost and spent the next five years unable to interact with anyone. He forgot he was a ghost and thought everyone was ignoring him until he finally made a friend in the form of a human girl who was very persistent in befriending him. He did later remember what he was.
Anything Bill should not know? Nope.
Special Defenses?: Unless being a ghost counts, then no.
OPT OUT: None that I can think of. If something does come up, I'll let you know.
(no subject)
Date: 2016-07-31 02:58 pm (UTC)Good god, who knew pidgeon dating sims were so hardcore?! Lmao I heard this one was intense but I never would have expected a plotline like this. Well after the time he locked himself in a room with fire, this dreamscape room must seem pretty nostalgic!
Thanks a bunch :3 this is great info
omg is this too much i'm so sorry in advance!!! <3
Date: 2016-08-06 03:47 am (UTC)horrible nightmare memories: secrets:
off limits: i thiiiink i'm game for anything! you seem cool and like i can hit you up if i realize oh shit i wasn't ready, so do your thing!
special defenses: maybe? faith reacts weird to dream stuff / has a tendency to shake off comas and fight out of near-death stuff if it's mental but it's never clearly defined and i don't think she does it actively. at most maybe bill can notice something's up with her?
Never too much! The more the better XD it's all good!
Date: 2016-08-08 09:41 pm (UTC)Bill will cut her some slack with the Trickster since the guy even threatened HIM and he shouldn't even be able to be touched! She's safe on that front for now. The bad memories lobotomy, however, is definitely something Bill will take advantage of! You KNOW, He could get rid of those bad memories for you, Firecracker~ Wouldn't cost MUCH...
She could have more lucidity than the average dreamer or be able to wake herself up if he has her in a nightmare quicker than the average human if you'd like? We can play it however you feel if it comes up ^^
And yup, you're safe with me. ^__^ I only use Bill's powers for fun and never to godmode. If I have to retcon, or edit anything at all to keep my fellow taggers comfortable, that's a-okay by me! Bill is so unfairly powerful, I'd much rather weaken him to tell a good story than have him win all the time anyway.
Thanks a bunch! This is great info. I'll have to bother 'Faithy' sometime >D
\o/
Date: 2016-08-18 03:09 am (UTC)I like your idea on the lucidity in dreams a lot because it would mean if she stays asleep she's actively choosing it and I think like, dramatically and narratively it would be really satisfying and add another horrific layer to the whole thing!!! Though soon enough she will be powerless--
Actually OK this seems like a long shot but just in case it would work, does Bill have the ability/desire to take away powers and effectively make someone like Faith human? Otherwise, she's heading to the vendors...
\o>
Date: 2016-08-19 12:49 am (UTC)As for the power to take away powers; I'd go ahead and say no on this one. Bill's power sort of works like if the person making a deal wants something bad enough he can make it happen, but given that he hasn't demonstrated that particular ability before and the fact that faith probably wouldn't want this outcome, it wouldn't work. His power is a lot more restricted at present anyway, until he gets a physical form capable of channeling it himself.
I'll keep an eye out for her heading to the vendors though! :3 Humanize away!
(no subject)
Date: 2016-08-20 07:27 pm (UTC)OK gotcha, I appreciate the clarification-- Faith very much wants to not have powers, but considering the vendors would be a clean cut way for Bill to spot a weakened person I think it'll be the more narratively pleasing option! It will probably happen next month, but it might not until October depending on RL / things that are happening in game.
Thanks for chatting with me about it all <3 Dipper means a lot to Faith, so I can't wait for it all to intersect!!!
OwO
Date: 2016-08-08 07:42 pm (UTC)As of right now, only Mettaton calls Napsta "Blooky" so that would definitely be a little unnerving, but otherwise have at it lol. it might make sense for bill to keep calling them "ghostie" after the event since that was their first interaction.
Any horrible, secrets memories your character would have nightmares about?
Mettaton left them to become corporeal after specifically promising not to and Napstablook is too polite to talk about how much that hurt them. They come from a genocide run of the game so it's not really a secret but they don't trust frisk or chara not to kill everyone again at the drop of a hat, and it's kind of messing with them that the undertale cast has forgiven the kids. Also, they are acutely aware of the fact that if everyone died, they wouldn't, and would be utterly alone. Specific to Wonderland, their worst fear right now is being sent back to their dismal timeline.
Anything Bill should not know?
Not really, but for now keep the whole "mettaton-is-secretly-napstablook's-former-ghost-cousin" thing to one-on-one interactions or interactions that also include Alphys or Mettaton, it's not public knowledge yet.
Special Defenses?
idk, probably not
I look forward to playing with you!
^wO
Date: 2016-08-08 09:49 pm (UTC)It's funny Napstablook has the same fear about going back to a broken world because Bill has been using that exact ideal to gather people to his side. He wants to steal Wonderland from the Queen to build a BETTER place here; where people don't HAVE to go home. Of course given that Bill is a crazy psychopath BETTER is VERY subjective.
I'm not sure how well he'll warm up to Napsta just yet. He's either about to be very pissy or amused by their antics. I guess only time will tell XD
Thanks a bunch! This is great info. I look forward to more playing as well ^___^
Since Dorian is the kind of guy who is fooled by flattery...
Date: 2016-09-27 01:16 am (UTC)Horrible memories and secrets WHERE DO I EVEN START?
- Parents are dead, raised by his mean grandpa
- Somehow willed his portrait to age horribly while he stayed young
- Used to date an actress named Sybil Vane. They were madly in love until Sybil forgot how to act. Dorian dumped her, and she killed herself before he got around to apologizing.
- Spent 18 years being a hedonist with low standards
- Kept corrupting/ruining/breaking the hearts of people who are attracted to him. Sometimes it resulted in death.
- Had a habit of sneaking off to stare at his decaying portrait or visit the docks incognito so he could get his opium fix
- Nobody asked him questions because he looked too beautiful and pure to be so evil
- Basil Hallard, the guy who painted the portrait, was one of his old friends.
- Basil bumped into Dorian on the night before the latter's birthday and started asking about all the rumors. Dorian thought it would be logical to show Basil what became of his painting. Of course, Basil was in shock, and begged Dorian to change his ways. Dorian replied by impulsively stabbing Basil in the neck.
- Dorian had a good alibi and he blackmailed a chemist friend to get rid of the body, but Basil's murder still continues to haunt him
- Sybil's brother, a vengeful sailor named James, was stalking Dorian shortly before he was taken to Wonderland.
Bill would have a field day with this guy.Anything Bill should not know? Not really, but I might pm you if we run into any issues.
Special Defenses: None. Go nuts.
(no subject)
Date: 2016-11-23 02:31 am (UTC)I leave that one in your capable hands! She's not going to remember whatever Bill calls her anyway.
And if she does, that's...a whole other issue entirely.Any horrible, secrets memories your character would have nightmares about?
Hahaha, oh boy. Where to start.
Pretty much everything in her memory would be nightmare fuel for her. She did a lot of really bad things before she lost her memory. Murder, torture, brainwashing, she was not a good person at all. And once she gets her memories back home, she's going to be an even worse person, and all those ideas have already started kicking around in her head back home too.
Any of that's fair game, and I'm more than happy to provide details since she'd be horrified and definitely not believe any of this.
But wait there's more! Ryoko's canonpoint is right after the villain revealed her motives to Ryoko. One of which is killing Ryoko's love interest. Ryoko's absolutely terrified of her canon's antagonist, and that just makes her even scarier. So far Ryoko's done a good job of not telling anyone that, even going as far to skip the pages in her notebook, but it'll come to light eventually.
As far as Wonderland stuff goes, she died during the Neverland event. Pretty horribly too. So there's that too y'know. Lots of options here!
Anything Bill should not know?
He can know everything about her, that's fine! Just don't tell everyone.
Special Defenses?
Unless the writer suddenly decides there are some sort of weird Super High School Level Mental Defenses against cosmic horror corn chips, I don't think so.
But since this is the best place to put it...
In the novel, Ryoko's amnesia wears off at times. It's not a defense, but there's always a chance he could end up talking to the real her, not the pitiful amnesiac running around Wonderland.

Thanks for filling this out, this is a lot of great info!
Newt Scamander
Date: 2017-05-05 02:08 am (UTC)Any horrible, secrets memories your character would have nightmares about? Most of Newt's involve loss. Losing his best friend. Losing his creatures. Failing in New York. He tries not to worry as he doesn't believe in worrying means you suffer twice, but I believe in his dreams he thinks about these things.
Anything Bill should not know? Anything is fair game from his life.
Special Defenses?: I suspect if I looked into it, there is a wizarding world spell that would to a degree help, but I'm a horrible person and not going to look into this because no protection for you, Newt.
Seth Gecko
Date: 2017-05-05 02:16 am (UTC)Any horrible, secrets memories your character would have nightmares about? Their father was abusive, reminding them that they're mom left because of them and making Seth take apart and rebuild guns for hours on end - at like 8? His father died in a house fire they survived - that was not an accident. His brother was turned into a not human being. He's been trapped in a temple for snakevampiregods. Lalalala, this fandom.
Anything Bill should not know? Nope, anything is open game.
Special Defenses?: Nope, he's really human, and he had someone in his head once and hated it.

Date: 2017-06-05 03:52 am (UTC)Any horrible, secrets memories your character would have nightmares about? Asriel died to a bunch of human villagers the moment they saw him, and then came back to life as a flower. He had the power to SAVE/RESET, and used said power to murder his fellow monsters and destroy timelines by resetting them.
Anything Bill should not know? Everything is fair game!
Special Defenses?: Asriel's only special defense is crying a lot.

Date: 2017-07-17 07:38 pm (UTC)SO I wanted to apologize for saying hello and then falling off the face of this planet. I ended up taking an unannounced month-long hiatus. I replied to our old starter, but if you'd like me to tag something more recent to make it up to you, I certainly will!
Either way, see you around! This is perfect, thanks! ^___^
